A range of psychotherapy modalities are integrated into your session including, but not limited to: Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, Grief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solutions-based focused therapy. Each session is led by your needs and feedback, guided by a flexible, heartfelt, and comprehensive therapeutic approach.

Holistic psychotherapy can be utilised effectively for individuals of all ages, couples and family counselling.

Embodiment is central to Psychotherapy at Free your Body and is used to antidote dissociative states resulting from the habits of modern life, post-traumatic stress as well as other psychological challenges and decisions.

In this way, we can learn to be free from mental and physical pain, addictions, and traumas and learn to love ourselves again.

Meet Lauren.

Lauren graduated with a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Certified Adv. Psychedelic assisted therapist, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, Naturopathy, and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology. The integration of these holistic and scientific approaches enables psychotherapy to be applied through a somatic-cognitive approach, uniquely focused on physiology, nutrition, neuroscience, and early motor development.

Lauren specializes in high-performance roles such as athletes as well as those in eating disorder recovery working on body acceptance. She incorporates philosophies into her practice that are inclusive, respectful, and focused on well-being and self-compassion. Her personal experience and specialist training in these areas allow her to hold space with clients who wish to make peace with their bodies.
